BACOLOD City – A 61-year-old teacher was stabbed dead in Barangay Poblacion, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
Nancy Oliverio succumbed to a stab wound to her right shoulder.
One of her granddaughters was wounded while another managed to hide; both were minors.
Cauayan municipal police said the still unidentified suspect gained access through the back of Oliverio’s home, where the ceiling was under repair.
Investigation is ongoing./PN
