ILOILO City – Live-in partners were arrested in an antidrug operation on Ledesma Street, Barangay Gloria at around 1:10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11.
The suspects were Robert B. Martinez, 43, and Glory O. Uriarte, 37. A poseur buyer bought from them a plastic sachet of suspected shabu for P2,500.
Police recovered 10 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less three grams and valued at P20,000.
Police Capt. Mavin Laraño said Martinez served jail time for robbery.
The two are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
