ILOILO City – A rape suspect was caught in Barangay 4 (Poblacion), Tigbauan, Iloilo.
Tomas Naval, 57, of the same village was listed as the No. 7 most wanted person in the Tigbauan police station.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest at 8:35 a.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Naval was accused of sexually assaulting a minor five years ago.
He was charged with rape in relation to Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
The court recommended a bail bond of P200,000 for his temporary liberty.
He was detained at the Tigbauan police station./PN
