ILOILO City – Police arrested a man after he failed to show permit to transport sand and gravel in Barangay Pungtod, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
He was identified as Johnny Manimbayay, a resident of the village, a police report showed.
The Cabatuan police staged the arrest on Wednesday at around 5:30 p.m. after they chanced upon Manimbayay driving a truck loaded with sand and gravel allegedly quarried illegally.
The suspect was taken to the municipal police station, sfacing charges./PN
