ILOILO City – A 39-year-old farmer was hospitalized after an uncle shot him on Holy Thursday in Barangay Cabunga, Passi City.
Regil Payas was treated for two gunshot wounds on the left arm at the Don Valerio Palmares Sr. Memorial District Hospital.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Payas and his uncle, 45-year-old Antonio Payas, had a heated argument.
Policemen arrested the uncle and detained him at the Passi City police station lockup cell. They, however, failed to recover the gun used on the nephew./PN
