ILOILO City – After nine years of searching, police finally arrested a 34-year-old fugitive in Barangay San Nicolas, Oton, Iloilo.
Helen Castro – charged with serious physical injuries – was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant yesterday, a police report showed.
Judge Amalik Espinosa of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) in this city ordered Castro’s arrest.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Oton police station.
A P10,000 bail bond was recommended for her temporary liberty.
It was unclear, as of this writing, if Castro posted bail./PN
