ILOILO – Western Visayas’ No. 1 most wanted man for nine counts of rape was nabbed in Barangay Semirara, Caluya, Antique.
Orlyn Lucena, a 41-year-old resident of the barangay, was served with an arrest warrant by the Caluya Municipal Police Station (MPS) on Feb. 23.
Caluya policemen led by Police Major Rex Francisco Farren, together with the Regional Intelligence Division and Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Antique Police Provincial Office, conducted the manhunt.
Presiding Judge Josefina Fulo Muego of the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region – Branch 13, Culasi, Antique, issued the arrest warrant on Feb. 14, 2023.
Lucena was detained at the Caluya police station. No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
