BACOLOD City – A 30-year-old taxi driver was held up yesterday in City Heights Subdivision, Barangay Taculing.
Rey Crispino, a resident of Barangay Bata, lost P1,400 cash to the suspect.
Crispino identified the suspect as Shem Dubouzet, 38, after looking at a rogues’ gallery in Police Station 6.
He told the police Dubouzet hired his cab in Barangay 35 asked to be taken to City Heights, but upon reaching the subdivision, the suspect wrapped an arm around his neck, pointed a knife at him and declared holdup.
Dubouzet told Crispino to get out of the taxi and drove away, police said.
Police searched for the taxi and found it in Bangga Yap, Barangay Singcang-Airport, but the cabbie’s cash was no longer there.
Dubouzet was a resident of Barangay Vista Alegre, police records showed./PN
