ILOILO City – Police raided a house in Barangay Alegre, Oton, Iloilo, leading to the recovery of a loose firearm.
An improvised 12-gauge shotgun and assorted bullets of unknown caliber gun were recovered from 61-year-old Adriano Almarza, a police report showed.
The police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant around 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
Almarza was detained in the lockup facility of the Oton municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
