ILOILO City – Police arrested a woman facing estafa charges in Barangay Toledo, Nabas, Aklan.
Lea Evangelio, 41, of Barangay Pasayan, Batad, Iloilo was caught around 6 a.m. on June 30, a police report showed.
The Nabas police staged Evangelio’s apprehension on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Rogelio Amador of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66.
The suspect was taken to the municipal police station.
The court recommended a P16,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty./PN
