ILOILO – A jeepney driver was shot by a riding-in-tandem in Barangay Bayuyan Estancia, Iloilo, yesterday, May 2.
Jelly Cuacoyco, 54, of Barangay Abong, Carles, Iloilo, sustained four gunshot wounds from an unidentified firearm.
Cuacoyco is being treated at the Jesus M. Colmenares Memorial District Hospital.
The shooting may have stemmed from a land dispute, initial investigation of the Estancia Municipal Police Station (MPS) showed.
