ROXAS City – After sending text messages to her supposed girlfriend, a 21-year-old lesbian committed suicide in her bedroom in Barangay Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz.
Identified by the police only as “Rhea,” she was found by her family on Aug. 1 hanging from the ceiling with a nylon rope tied around her neck.
Police found in Rhea’s cellphone text messages that read, “Tatapusin ko na ang buhay ko. Wala na palang silbi,” and “Mahal na mahal kita, my love. Eto yung huling text ko.”
Rhea was brought to the Rural Health Unit in President Roxas, Capiz where she was pronounced “dead on arrival,” a police report showed.
The supposed girlfriend remains unidentified as of this writing./PN
