ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Rizal Pala-Pala was arrested for berating their village chief.
The 63-year-old Roberto Pacana was accused of defamation.
Barangay Captain Myrna Rey was sitting by the window of their house when Pacana passed by and uttered defamatory words, police said.
With the help of Barangay Kagawad Salvador Bernaldez, Pacana was taken to Police Station 1 around 9 p.m. on Monday./PN
