ILOILO City – A 39-year-old man was shot to death in Barangay Canawilan, Janiuay, Iloilo.
The suspect in Joel Armada’s death was his younger brother, 27-year-old Elmer, police said.
From what the Janiuay police so far gathered, the brothers figured in an argument after Elmer accused Joel of allegedly stealing his Indian mango fruit.
In fit of anger, Elmer shot his brother using an unidentified gun around 5 p.m. on May 30, the police added.
Joel sustained gunshot wound on the face. He died on the spot.
Officers of the municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
