ILOILO – A man was stabbed to death in Barangay Lupa, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, at around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18.
Victim Elvin Jarloc, 48, sustained 12 stab wounds. The suspect was his younger brother, Ivan, 38.
Santa Barbara Municipal Police Station (MPS) chief Police Major Jose Rey Pabalan said the two had an old rivalry.
“Ginsulod ya (suspect) gid ini sa balay ang iya magulang kag gin paulanan sang buno gamit ang kutsilyo nga busungan,” said Pabalan.
