BACOLOD City – An illegal drug suspect was arrested in Purok Paglaum, Barangay Atipuluan, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Police caught the 46-year-old resident Hernane “Patong” Garperio of the same barangay was caught at around 5:15 p.m. Sunday. They described him as a drug surrenderer.
Five plastic packs of suspected shabu worth P15,000 were seized from him during a buy-bust operation.
A cellphone, P280 cash believed proceeds from drug sale, and drug paraphernalia were seized from him.
The suspect was detained at the Bago City police station.
He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
