ILOILO City – An elderly woman died in a vehicular accident in Barangay Pagdugue, Dumangas, Iloilo yesterday.
Desposoria Fermalidad, 74, died of severe injuries at the Dumangas District Hospital.
According to the police, a car hit the victim as she was crossing the road around 7:10 a.m.
The car was driven by Kevin Rexil Almira, 27, of Barangay Agcuyawan Pulo, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
Almira was taken to the Dumangas police station. He could be charged with reckless imprudence resulting to homicide./PN
