ILOILO City – A “street-level” drug suspect was arrested in Barangay Sablogon, Passi City, Iloilo.
Police identified him as 35-year-old Steward Somos, a resident of Barangay Simon Ledesma, Jaro district here.
He sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P500, police said.
Four more sachets valued at P4,080 were recovered, according to the police, around 5:30 a.m. on April 27.
The suspect was taken to the Passi City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against Somos./PN
