ILOILO City – A lineman of a telecommunications company got electrocuted in Barangay San Jose, San Miguel, Iloilo.
He was 30-year-old resident Leonard Salarza, police said.
According to the police, the victim was installing a fiber-optic cable around 9:45 a.m. on Feb. 27 when he accidentally touched a live wire.
Salarza was rushed to the Aleosan District Hospital in Alimodian, Iloilo but declared “dead on arrival.”/PN
