ILOILO City – A tricycle driver was arrested on Tuesday at a police checkpoint in Barangay Poscolon, San Rafael, Iloilo.
An unlicensed 12-gauge shotgun was recovered from 35-year-old Rey Basbaño of Barangay Calaigang, San Rafael, a police report showed.
The suspect was caught around 7 p.m.
He was detained at the San Rafael police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
