ILOILO City – Charged with estafa, a woman was nabbed in Barangay Kahirupan, City Proper.
The 38-year-old Ma. Leah Gonzales of Barangay Bergante, Mambusao, Capiz was caught around 10 a.m. on June 23, a police report showed.
Gonzales’ apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant, it added.
The suspect was taken to the Mambusao municipal police station.
The court recommended a P40,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty./PN
