ANTIQUE – Five houses were gutted by a fire that broke out in Barangay Poblacion, Culasi, Antique around 3:04 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14.
Based on the initial report of the Bureau of Fire Protection-Culasi, two houses were totally damaged and three were partially damaged.
The houses were mostly made of light materials.
The fire left P150,000 in damages.
According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), no casualties or injuries were reported in the fire.
The homeowners were identified as Ben Cadigal, Carina Panaguiton, Imelda Cadigal, Nena Panaguiton, and Sheryl Suelto.
The affected families temporarily stayed with relatives./PN
